Defeated?

It you spend any time in the Psalms, it won’t talk long before you’ll see that David often felt defeated, felt alone, felt as if God had forsaken him. Of course, he found quickly enough that he was neither alone nor forsaken. And he was never defeated, he might be under God’s judgment, His discipline, but defeated? Never. When you feel that way, here are a few verses that should help turn all that around.

Psalm 91:1-10 - KJV Updated
He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence.
