Movies that entertain and/or edify and try not to offend

Email us on the Contact Page the names of movies you think other Christian men might find worth seeing.

One of the first great blockbusters, Quo Vadis tells the story of the Christian persecution by Nero in Rome. The Gospel is beautifully presented and shown. On Amazon Prime ($2.99 when I saw it)

Mel Gibson directs and, believe me, achieves, one of the great “A Christian at war movies.” This is not for the faint of heart, but nor is being a Christian man anywhere. ($3.99 on Amazon Prime)

Spencer T. Folmar Film - “Two estranged brother are brought back together at the death of their mother.” Available on both Peacock Streaming and Amazon Prime ($1.99 on Prime)

Spencer T. Folmar Film - “A small town community comes together to fight the spread of drugs by whatever means necessary.” Available at Peacock Streaming and Amazon Prime (Check availability in your area on Prime.)

Ben-Hur - A Tale of the Christ: as General Lew Wallace’s novel is titled, was made in 1959 and has yet to be surpassed in it’s spectacle and story of our Lord and Savior as it’s told through the life of our Jewish Hero. It’s long (4 hours with intermission), but worth every minute. ($3.79 on Amazon Prime)

The Big Country - This is the story of a very corrosive hate and the man who confronts it. It’s long, but the characters are given time to develop. It ends as a great morality tale should. (Free with Prime membership)
